From Manuscript to Finished Audio
A clear process, no mysterious black box. Here’s how your book moves from our first conversation to finished audio.
1. Conversation & Manuscript Review
We’ll start with your book—its tone, characters, world, and anything you want me to know before I step behind the mic. I’ll review the manuscript for character voices, pacing, pronunciations, and anything that may need a conversation before recording begins.
This is where we make sure I understand not just the words, but the story you want listeners to experience.
2. Sample Read
For longer projects—or whenever you’d like to hear how I connect with the story—I can provide a short sample from your manuscript. It gives you a chance to hear my approach to the characters, tone, and pacing before we move into full production.
If something needs adjusting, this is the time to find it—before we’re several chapters in.
3. Recording, Editing, and Review
Once recording begins, I focus on consistent character voices, natural pacing, and staying true to the tone we’ve established. Each chapter is carefully edited and mastered, then reviewed for performance, continuity, pronunciation, and technical quality before it’s considered finished.
The goal is a performance that feels effortless to the listener—even when there’s a lot of work happening behind the mic.
4. Final Delivery
Once everything has been recorded, edited, mastered, and given a final quality check, your audiobook is ready for delivery. You’ll receive clean, professionally finished files prepared to meet the technical requirements of your distribution platform.

Timeline & Availability:
Good stories take time. Good production takes planning.
Most full-length audiobook projects are completed within 4–6 weeks, depending on the length and complexity of the book, production needs, and my current schedule.
If you’re working toward a specific release date, let me know when you reach out. I’ll be upfront about my availability, what the project will require, and whether your timeline is realistic.
Have a tighter deadline? Ask. If I can make it work without compromising the story or the quality, I will.
