Behind the Mic
Books were never quiet to me.
Growing up on a Midwest farm, I was the kid with a book perpetually within reach. Stories weren’t just something I read—I heard the characters, felt the tension, and disappeared into worlds far more interesting than whatever was on television.
Apparently, I never grew out of it.
Now I bring that instinct to the mic: finding the personality beneath the words, the tension underneath the dialogue, and the very human mess hiding inside complicated characters.
