What It’s Like to Work With Me

Below is a general overview of how audiobook projects typically move from initial discussion to final delivery.

1. Initial Discussion & Script Review

We’ll start with a conversation about your book, your vision, and your timeline. I’ll review the manuscript to understand character voices, pacing requirements, and any specific pronunciation or stylistic considerations.

This stage ensures we’re aligned on creative direction before recording begins.

2. Sample Read (If Requested)

For longer projects or when you want to confirm we’re the right fit, I can provide a short sample recording from your manuscript. This allows you to hear how I interpret your work before committing to full production.

3. Recording, Editing, and Review

Once recording begins, I focus on consistent performance, careful editing, and technical quality throughout the project. Each section is carefully edited for clarity, consistency, and technical quality, with opportunities for review and feedback to ensure the final product meets your expectations.

4. Final Delivery (ACX-Ready)

Your completed audiobook is delivered in professional, ACX-ready format: properly edited, mastered to industry specifications, and organized into clearly labeled chapter files. Additional formats can be provided as needed.

Timeline & Availability:

Most standard-length audiobooks are completed within an estimated 4–6 weeks, depending on manuscript length and current project load. Rush timelines may be available—let’s discuss your specific needs.
